Travel Card
ECI 2012 have arranged with Strathclyde Passenger Transport (SPT) the provision of a credit card size travel ticket, which encompasses public transport throughout the city and the West of Scotland. This 3 day pass can be booked on the registration form.
The cost is £6.70 and is a 3 day pass valid 6-8 September inclusive. The Travel Pass allows Congress delegates to travel on all bus services, overground train services, underground trains as well as ferry services.
Tickets will be accompanied by a free leaflet and map which details the area across the West of Scotland as far north as Loch Lomond and as far West as the Islands of Arran and Bute. Delegates who book and pay for the delegate travel pass in advance will receive the tickets when they register on site in Glasgow.

By Plane:
Glasgow is easily reached by three international airports, Glasgow International, Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh International. Glasgow’s international airport is a 15 minute drive from the SECC, and provides direct access to and from major European and North American cities.

By Rail:
Glasgow has the largest rail network in the UK outside London. Glasgow’s Central Station is connected with every city in the UK, while Queen Street Station serves central and northern Scotland.
Once you’re in Glasgow, your journey right to our front door can be completed by train. Trains run to the SECC from the city centre with a journey time of just three minutes
The “Exhibition Centre station” is SECC’s own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. Six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Central Station (Platform 17 is on the lower level) will bring you to Exhibition Centre station in a journey time of just three minutes.
By Bus:
Coach operators run services to Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station from throughout the UK. Click here for coach travel links.
First Bus 62 service and Arriva 26 service operate each day, approximately every 10 and 20 minutes respectively, adjacent to the SECC site. These services run from Argyle Street (62) and Finnieston Street, at the Clyde Arc Bridge (26).
Both services travel to Glasgow City Centre and return, as follows:
First bus 62 via St Vincent Street, West George Street and Union Street
Arrive 26 via Broomielaw, Oswald Street and Glasgow Central train station.
By Car:

Car Parking:
The SECC Glasgow offers onsite parking for over 2000 cars. The rate for this is £6.00 per vehicle, per visit. Payment is taken on exit, on a cash only basis.
As part of the SECC Green Policy they do not issue receipts as standard practise but VAT receipts are available on request at the time of payment.
These spaces are available on a first come, first served basis and normal parking rates apply.

By Bicycle:
The SECC has link roads and paths that are easily navigated by bicycle as well as cycle paths that run alongside the Clyde.
Glasgow is extensively linked with the National Cycle Network as well as approved on-road cycle routes.

LETTER OF INVITATION
A letter of invitation to assist with visa applications will be available once you have registered and paid to attend the Congress. Please contact eci@kenes.com with confirmation of your registrationa and payment to attend.
CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
A Certificate of Attendance will be provided for all registered delegates after the Congress.
CME/CPD CREDITS
The Congress has been granted 18 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
POSTER PRINTING:

INSURANCE
The registration fees do not include the insurance of participants against personal accidents, sickness and cancellations by any party, theft, loss or damage to personal possessions. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance to cover travel, accommodation, cancellation and personal effects.
